I am at my wits end and I am now contemplating using Pages or another alternative just for word processing. Solutions have worked for me, and by the poster's accounts, they have not worked for them either. I just want to pre-empt the questions about update, reboot, reinstall, etc., that have been asked in all the other responses. I have done a complete/clean reinstall (followed MS instructions and deleted the apps and all the helper files, preferences, etc.), changed highlight colors, used a different keyboard and mouse, unchecked Spelling and Grammar, rebooted Lord knows Works for me with my Mac OS X 10.6.8 Very easy, thanks Reply Delete.

I cannot upgrade to Sierra so I have to stay with El Cap for now.ĨGB of RAM and plenty of processing power. If youre a Mac lover, youll probably want to get OS X Mojave. There are no obvious drawbacks, Mojave does its job, and it does it properly.

This new update took the best features and improved them. This is a new installation of Office on this computer. Mac Mojave runs on Mac computers featuring an OS X 10.8 and later versions.
